Asymptomatic covid

I’m on holidays about a 2 day drive from home. We found out after arrival that my daughters PCR test was positive. The rest of us who tested at the same time are negative. None of us have any symptoms whatsoever including my daughter

It’s been 6 days since the positive test and she is now negative. None of us have any symptoms. How many people have had covid with no symptoms at
all.

What are the chances that all 4 of us are asymptomatic? I’m in Australia and everyone I know that has had it vaccinated or unvaccinated has been sick in some way. Just trying to reassure myself that I don’t have it…

Wow that seems crazy but not surprising. It’s getting pretty crazy in Aust especially in NSW and Sydney. I work in a hospital and CEO has said it’s not going to be covid cases that will be the crisis but the lack of staff with everyone getting covid or having to isolate.
I’m just curious to see how common asymptomatic covid is. Everyone I know has been sick but I guess if you don’t have symptoms then you wouldn’t test and may never know.

Only reason we tested is that we were going away but the tests are taking up to 5 days to come back and by that stage a lot of people mixing in community. We have been very careful. Wearing masks in communal areas and sanitise before we use any facilities so hope we havent spread it.

We are now stuck isolating in a caravan with 2 kids. Thank goodness we have power and devices . My 11 year old has ADHD so could get very interesting

Yes, it’s about staffing levels.
