Partner has just tested positive on LF.

We were around someone positive on Christmas Day. He done a negative LF this morning but had the sniffles so took a test tonight and two very strong lines.

Both vaccinated and had boosters.

I've been testing everyday on LF since being in very close contact with the person on Christmas Day. I was going to carry on testing for 10/14 days from Christmas Day. Do I have to start the 10/14 days again now my partner is positive?

He's currently isolating at his parents house as he can safely isolate there. We have a 2 year old so now worried my child will get it and me.

I suffer with health anxiety anyway so this isn't helping. I opened the windows where he was tonight and sprayed disinfectant spray over pretty much everything 🙄.

It’s 7 days that you do LFT for after being a close contact. If you’ve been in close contact with your partner in the last 2 days, I would get PCR tests for you and your DC. Also your partner needs to get a PCR test to confirm.

Oh, I didn't know it was 7 days. So I suppose my 7 days start again.

Yes, he has one booked for today but we can't seem to get one at the minute.
