Isolation period

Mild cough from last night, positive lateral flow test this evening. No pcr tests available in my area at the moment. Assuming I’m not very ill, can I go to work next Wednesday if I have a negative lft or Wednesday is still part of my isolation?

Yday was day 0, today is day 1, next weds is day 7 and still part of your isolation, you are free to go on day 8 if both your day 6 and day 7 lfts are negative. Govt communication on this has been utterly rubbish, most people think you can leave on day 7 but you still have to complete day 7.
