Test and Trace app

I've seen people on her say "I was pinged, etc." or "If you're pinged then..." but who actually still actively has the NHS Test and Trace app?

I used it all the time last summer when we had to check into pubs and scan the QR code but really, who actually uses it these days?

It runs in the background and uses Bluetooth so you don't have to actively check in for it to be working

I deleted the app. Wasn't fit for purpose. I have an iPhone 12 and couldn't get the app to open half the time. I've heard of people having to isolate if their neighbours have tested positive and it's picked them up as contacts through walls! 🤦‍♀️

I do. I'd like to have information about potential exposure to help me make decisions about my own activities. I wouldn't necessarily completely isolate on the basis of what the app says, but I might cut down interactions/do LFTs.

I just leave the Bluetooth running, I don't check in anywhere.

I still have it. I have vulnerable family members so it's a useful thing to have on in the background.

I've got it, got pinged Christmas eve tested and was positive literally no symptoms I had my booster the day before and put my tiredness down to that
