No PCR tests available un England

Any one else struggling to book a PCR or home test this morning? I keep trying but nothing available 😬

I'm in Scotland and can't get one either as dh just got a positive LFT

Well, next they'll be saying case numbers are dropping 😩

A local GP has posted this morning to say no pharmacies in the town have any LFTs either. I've got three spare so giving them to a friend needing to visit his mum in a care home (no test, no visit).

I'm only confirming a positive LFT. DH confirmed positive via PCR 2 days ago. There must be thousands in my situation not adding to the daily figures 🤔🙄

Yes same here. I've had a snotty nose and the Zoe app recommended I get one, apparently there are some appointments in Wales (I'm east mids) so that's helpful

Same here - Dd2 is positive and DH has now developed symptoms, but can’t book him a PCR or order a test for home delivery. does anyone know what time the new slots get released? I’m sure I’ve seen that on here but can’t remember.

No drive in slots here - but some tests were available by post so we're doing that and just staying in the house ...

Yup same here. Faint positive on a lft this morning,dh tested positive last week so have been expecting it. No pcrs available.

Am going to keep checking throughout the day. Have managed to order lfts doing that.

Same here no pcr test appointments been available for the last few days, no availability for postal lft this morning none in any of the local chemist either me & Ds both positive Dh needs to be testing 🤷‍♀️

Absolute nightmare, and what about next week when the kids go back to school?
Some people will have to take time of work unpaid,or just don't bother testing if they can't get a test or are waiting 5 days for results.

I got a positive LFT yday morning (live in West Mids) and it was trying go send me to Wales for a PCR.
A family member told me that at a local testing site you can just turn up so I tried it. I advised them I'd had a positive LFT and they were happy for me to stay so I did, queuing up with everyone else for over an hour feeling very guilty as I hacked my guts up in the queue.
If you're on Facebook, try typing in the search bar your towns name and then our test. When I did this there were lots of people who had asked about walk ins and lots of helpful advice

Same here no LFT anywhere and no pcr slots 🙄

From the clever people who report the stats on reddit, my understanding is lfts that are reported to the govt are counted, then deducted if you then report a positive pcr, so your lft will count.

I’ve just gone on the website and tests are showing as ‘available’ in all areas....

Two days ago my dh registered a lft as positive. I then found the PCR tests and after several options right at the bottom was the at home delivery service. Filled it in at 2pm and received two tests the next morning. Did them this morning and put them in the priority box this morning.

No drive-ins but managed to request postal pcrs. Two positive lfts out of a household of 4 so not going anywhere in the next few days anyway. Been trying to understand the self isolation rules for negative non-vaccinated kids instead.

I just managed to order a home test kit. Better than nothing. For DC with +ve lft

I managed to get online and book a drive through PCR at 1pm today, (had been trying all morning) , appt is for tomorrow morning about 30 miles away.
