Query about self isolation rules

Hello I wonder if anyone can help with this

Family member tested positive 8 days ago (unvaccinated). Now her partner has tested positive, is she still allowed to be out of isolation after 10 days?
Or does the fact that she is unvaccinated mean this is different?

Where are you?

momofthr33 · 28/12/2021 17:04

@Devonchills in England its 7 days with 2 negative tests 24 hours after each other or 10 days without test / if still positive.

Unvaccinated is 10 days isolation. It all on the government website
www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance/stay-at-home-guidance-for-households-with-possible-coronavirus-covid-19-infection

Yes she will be released from isolation 10 days after testing positive regardless of her partner/vaccination status.

Tryingtryingandtrying · 28/12/2021 17:37

Why, are you thinking she should be punished for her unvaccinated status?
