Brother spent Xmas with parents then went home. He got a positive LFT this morning. Says he's been coughing for a few days.

Supposed to be visiting parents tomorrow. They're getting negative LFTs but mum has a cough. She says not covid. Just a normal winter cough

I know a few people who had negative LFT but were positive on PCR.

LFT can give false negatives, which is the reason they say in the instructions, not to use with any symptoms so you don’t get a false sense of security and spread Covid.

Let her be pissed off. You could have had delta then end up with Omicron -people are being reinfected.
