Will they let me in at the drive through test site if I turn up in a different car reg to the one I entered?

I booked test for later using my car reg but it’s not starting, will they turn me away if I go in a different one?

I can’t be the first person this has happened to and want to think that it’ll be fine if I just give them the reg that I booked with if they ask, but has anyone has any experience of this?

Yes, we did this. I booked all of us in using my car when DH had a positive LFT, but then decided it was too risky, and made him go in his own car, while I took the kids in mine. He went in first, and just had to show his booking confirmation.

Yes it'll be fine. I booked with my car reg and then husband offered to drive so I could sit in the back with our youngest. The number plate was checked at the end when handing our sample in and they just asked if we'd booked with a different car registration.

It should be fine. I booked one with my old car reg so just went along in my new car. They didn't question it and I didn't say anything.

Yes we did. Dh said Reg was used in case qr code couldn't be accessed, so as long as you have that you're ok. I'm sure they'd also find a name somewhere too.
