I'm day 11 and I'm feeling better apart from the breathlessness...its very uncomfortable to take a deep breath and I get out of breath doing simple stuff like walking to the toilet... anyone else had this? Does it go with time? X

Brew My understanding is that for most people it does go but takes variable amounts of time and there is varying severity.

Have you had any medical supervision since catching covid? I would want to speak to someone (GP?) and also I would use a pulse oximeter to reassure myself.

Here is the NHS info on covid recovery: www.yourcovidrecovery.nhs.uk

Speak with your GP or 111 if not open, just to rule out any problems. Also have you got a pulse oximetry to check your oxygen levels? Hope you feel better soon

If I had to choose between breathing and loving you, I’d take my last breath to say "I Love You".

Take Care!!

@KerryLopez123 what the hell?

If you can squeeze out three words try, "Give me steroids".

rrhuth · 27/12/2021 21:22

How are you getting on @Slagertha?

RandomKettle500 · 28/12/2021 00:09

I had Covid in March 2020 and had breathing difficulty from day 8 onwards. Rest, rest and rest. It started to ease after a few days but I was left with months of exhaustion. Fine now though. Hope you are ok.

Madmog · 28/12/2021 07:55

If your struggling to take a full breath and it's uncomfortable or painful, thern speak to your GP or 111 this morning. I've had this twice alongside being lethargic, turned out to be pneumonia. Not saying that's what you've got, but if I had those symptoms with Covid, if get checked out.

Homagedhome123 · 28/12/2021 08:26

My breathlessness took about 4 weeks to settle but it did eventually, just gradually got better.

Slagertha · 28/12/2021 09:03

It's slightly better thanks, can't wait to just feel completely normal now...its been a long 12 days!!! X
