Priority Post Boxes for sending PCRs over Christmas

Help - I am going in circles on RM website. I got 2 positive LFTs on Friday. Put a PCR straight in the priority post box (had a spare kit from previous event). The tracking still hasn't activated - it's still sat there, isn't it?
Also ordered PCRs for rest of family. Arrived today. But online search now shows that priority post boxes won't have collections until Wednesday. Can that be right?
All seems a bit 'un priority' 🤷🏻‍♀️

The prority post boxes are doing Sunday times untill Wednesday. Mines colllects at 3pm on Sunday. You will need to check for sunday times on all the local priorities ones. Not all boxes have Sunday times.

Put your postcode in to see which ones near you will collect today. Some near me have a 3pm collection today

The website didn't show any sunday collections at all in a 10 mile radius so DH went driving around until he found one, bless him. Their PCRs will arrive before mine probably!

It might not still be sat there, I’ve had ones where the tracking hasn’t updated til a couple of days after I got the result so 🤞🤞 maybe they did pick it up on Friday

I am also prob overthinking it all anyway as it seems I have pretty classic covid symptoms and don’t really need the PCR to confirm it 😂 the ones that matter more by now are the test results for the rest of the family.

Update - tracking showed it arrived this morning, six days later! Unlikely to have a readable result now.
