Omicron symptoms in babies

Hi all. On Monday we found out that a close contact of DD1 tested positive; we had PCRs and she and I are positive, DH is negative. He continues to have negative LFTs but we’ve been isolating as a household since Monday. Last night DD2 (6 months) vomited her night feed and did again this morning. Her temperature is normal but she’s tired and sad. Does anyone know how omicron symptoms present in infants and if there’s anything we can do?

Vomiting was sometimes a symptom of delta and to an extent alpha/Kent, particularly in children. otoh lots of things can make babies vomit.

Is it worth calling health visitor or 111?

@JanglyBeads awaiting a callback from 111 now, she’s fallen asleep in my arms, poor thing.

Not sure about babies but my 4 year old was vomiting for one day after testing positive.

I’ve got a little one with a vomiting bug. She’s had lots of lateral flows over the last few days and did her again today and still negative. There are plenty of other bugs going round unfortunately.
