Chest pain after 3-4 weeks?

Tested positive 4 weeks ago.

This week I've started suffering from a painful, tight chest. Worse at night.

Is this normal? Do I just sit it out and wait or should I see a gp when they open?

I also wear a garmin watch and my "stress" levels are through the roof just as badly as when I was in the throes of the infection.

Does your watch measure oxygen saturation?
Might be worth checking this.
You shouldn't ignore it in case you have bronchitis or pneumonia. Are there any sounds or crackles in your chest when you breathe? Or any other signs of being unwell like a temperature?

No noises from my chest. I do keep getting hot but I think that's just hot flushes - I'm 47.

I'm very tired.

Watch does measure oxygen saturation at night and it's sitting around 92-95% although people tell me it's not a very accurate method of monitoring.

Hi Op, I am the same, 4 weeks post covid and this week chest pains. The doc said I have pleurisy. I have a tight chest and sometimes feels like i am holding my breath though I am not. Hoping it clears soon.

TheRedHen2 · 31/12/2021 19:52

I hope you get better soon from the pleurisy.

How is it being treated? Antibiotics?

I must admit I haven't been to the doctors yet as it seems to come and go.

I had costochondritis after a virus which caused chest pain, I don't know if it could be this.

@TheRedHen2 hi! Did it ever go? And what helped ? X
