All the toddler groups will stop again won’t they?

Merry Christmas 🎄

I’m feeling horribly anxious about all the talk around indoor meetings being banned again.

I’ve been relying heavily on baby and toddler groups since they lifted the rules again, I have ASD and the routine helps me a lot. I also have PND so being alone with my child and no distractions is very difficult.

I’m dreading it all stopping again Sad

Toddler groups were allowed in stage 2 as we ran toddler yoga. So hopefully you will be ok. It sucks,
I agree

I'm worried too. 39 weeks pregnant here. Had PPD/A with my first and going to baby groups really helped.

I’m really hoping not, the recent news suggesting omicron is 70% less likely to result in hospital admission gave me some hope.

Baby and toddler groups were allowed in the stage 2 phase as I was going since April. We will not be going back to stage 2 so don’t worry it’s all just scaremongering in the media. Neither wales, Scotland or NI have banned indoor mixing so nor will England.

I'm worried about the softplays closing again! My DS2 has his birthday party at a softplay on 2nd January and is so excited. I know it's minor in the grand scheme of things but he's going to be turning 5 and it means so much to him. He can't remember a time before all this started really Sad
I'm hoping toddler classes still go ahead, DS3 was still going throughout a lot of the restrictions.

Also dreading this. I have two days off work a week with my toddler and baby DDs, and we all thrive on being able to do our classes. I just don't want to solely rely on freezing trips to the park.

I bloody hope not, I have my toddler at home two days a week and fine it so hard to entertain her in the house. And there’s only so much time you can spend stood in a freezing cold, muddy park.
