Late christmas query

I have to work this evening in a hospital and my parents/PIL are arriving tomorrow. If am infected this evening with omicron, how quickly can I become infectious?

With the original strain it was 2-14 days, average 5-6 days before showing symptoms and infectious a couple of days before symptoms started. Delta was faster and omicron is faster again. I’ve always imagined that if you get you’ve got at least 48 hours before you are infectious to others.
