Ds is 10 and tested positive around the 10/12. Now out of isolation.

He was off his food for a couple days and mildly ill. As far as I'm aware his smell and taste and have been fine as he hasn't mentioned anything.

He has asd and heightened sense of smell. He seems to have been smelling things normally that I know of

Today he mentioned he couldn't smell things normally.

Not sure if he's had it all along and not mentioned or new thing after isolation?

Is it possible to lose smell after isolation? Should I be concerned?

For me it was one of the later symptoms - it’s coming back really gradually now (2 weeksish after)

Thank you. Me and dp actually lost it on day 1 so different for us. Dp got it back within 3 days. I am out of isolation today and it's coming back slowly!
