How do I cancel an appointment

Help! I'd previously booked my booster through the website for early January.
Then my doctors offered an appointment for this week which I took.

But tonight I keep getting texts from the nhs telling me that I can bring my appointment forward. So far I've had 6.

When I follow the link to manage my booking I just get told that I don't need to book an appointment Confused

Any ideas?

Hopefully the system will sort of catch up with itself and stop spamming you?

Nhs admin systems are a law unto themselves. I have so far has 15 texts and emails telling me to book in for a booster.

Had said booster 4 weeks ago.

The system does eventually catch up with itself but if you can work out which bit of the nhs is messaging you, you can contact them to update.

I've had 3 more. All from the same place. NHS Booking

I managed to cancel my appointment via the link at the bottom of the confirmation email I received when I booked. Not sure if that’s the same link you’re using?

I have had 12 of these texts in the last two hours it is absolutely doing my head in!!!

Once I’d had my walk in booster, I got a text a day or so later that my booked booster had been cancelled. So maybe once you’ve had the jab and it’s on the system, other appt will be cancelled.

I used the link in the first message to cancel and rebook an earlier appointment. However, I've since received about 6 more messages saying the same thing. And they keep coming......!

I did similar to you op, though text was from local hospital where I had previous jabs. About a week after my booster I got a text to say my NHS booking had been cancelled so I think they do it for you behind the scenes

I’ve had this tonight - I’ve had to block them on both text and emails, it’s driving me mad! I’m getting them every few minutes.

Cancelling doesn’t stop the texts/emails. I cancelled the appointment yesterday.
