Covid booster and acne….

Anyone else had a weird hormonal reaction of any type to the booster.
Happy I’ve had it but I haven’t had spots at all in the past six months, yet a week after my booster I’ve four cystic acne spots; all on my chin

Intrigued if it’s just me (and frustrated as it’s Xmas and my mother will comment!)

I’ve felt run down after each jab and that’s always a sure thing for causing breakouts. I’ve had a small one after each jab but quickly returned to normal.

This happened to me after each jab (had 2 so far) and lasted ages after. Painful and red type acne spots like you'd get when due on but way more. I thought it was from wearing masks at first then realised it was the jab. Couple of friends have had similar too. Really horrible but thankfully it wasn't permanent. I'll await the booster reaction 😫

Yes I have a breakout on my chest and face, very rarely get spots but it’s like my teenage acne all over again.

Ah thanks, interesting to know it isn’t just me! Bit annoying as it massively affects my confidence- not that I’m going anywhere at the moment

I'd report it as a yellow card thing so they can look at it

There is some sort of mapping for spots and the chin area is linked to hormonal activity specific to women so to do with ovaries, periods etc.
As there has been anecdotal evidence of periods being affected by vaccination, I wonder if this is along the same lines.
But your spots might have nothing to do with your vaccine.
Very weird but, sadly, I don't think we'll ever know if there is a link.
I hope your skin gets better soon.

My skin has been awful since having to wear a mask more often.

Line of black heads across nose and cystic painful spots on my chin they do nothing other than look red and sore. I change mask regularly, made no difference whether I used fabric or disposable.

Yes! I had a huge outbreak of cystic spots on my bum plus a coldsore after the moderna booster. Very weird.
