Lateral Flow Tests

Can't find any where with Lateral Flows left, it's madness how are people able to 'flow and go' or test each day if they can't access tests.

StrawberrySquash , I did phone 119 whilst still standing outside the chemist hoping to get the last LFT kit, but it all took so long I gave up. And by then some lucky customer had been given the last one!

I tried the online site three days in a row - day 3 I managed to order OK - you just have to keep trying. I'm not that close to my local town - but was in the neighbouring town for an appointment and spotted the library was advertising having them. Unfortunately it didn't open until 11am and I was there for a 9am appt.

Your post reminded me to order and I’ve just ordered some now

I hope it will be illegal for members of the public to sell them. It's a disgusting suggestion.

That’s capitalism for you. Other countries are charging. You won’t be so obsessed with testing daily when you have to pay directly although of course those of us who pay NI are already paying. People are selling the daisy lanyards too.

There's always some beautiful soul waiting to profit from misery. So gross.

I was given a box by a friend and will try to get some online.

Definitely try libraries- and also check local facebook pages. I was trying to get some for days but none of the local pharmacies had any (despite it saying online that they had). A friend spotted a facebook post publicising a community drop off point (basically a van handing out boxes of 20 tests) and saying that in our area all libraries and council offices have them. I managed to get some which enabled us to test and identify that we were positive- which means a crap Xmas for us but less risk for our CEV relatives.

You really just have to keep trying online. I tried about 5 times in an hour last night - no luck, but an hour or so later I managed to order some.
