LFT line get lighter?

Those who have had covid and did LFT Throughout covid.
Did the second line get fainter over days then disappear or was it very bold and clear and then nothing the next day. I'm on day 6 and still have a very bold line. Was hoping to escape in time for Boxing Day to see my family but that's not looking possible 😩. My husbands one has been fading for the past 3 or 4 days.

Why are you testing when you still have to isolate anyway?

There’s a nationwide shortage of LFTs, not to mention the waste of single use plastics.

Wait until day 6, anything else is so irresponsible.

Op has said she is on day 6.

Today is my last day of isolation. I had a line albeit a fainter one 2 days ago, nothing today. I'm out tomorrow anyway 😅

As for Dd she's on day 8 totally asymptomatic and still has a very bold line on hers. I was hoping she'd test negative today and tomorrow so she could at least go for a walk to see Christmas lights tomorrow evening 😪

Am in day 5 - I got confused and thought it was day 6, so tested and had quite a faint line. The line at the beginning was very strong although I have really mild symptoms.

Her DH has.

Given that front line workers are struggling to obtain testing kits, is this really something that we should be encouraging?
