Does anyone know how effective 1 dose of Pfizer is? I had a baby this year so have managed to get one vaccine but not my second. Found out I have covid yesterday and I feel like absolute death. Thanks!

I guess it depends on how long ago you had the vaccine. Wishing you a speedy recovery, congratulations on your new baby Flowers

Early data suggests vaccinated people who go on to become infected are far less likely to die or be hospitalised. Overall, hospitalisation and death from COVID-19 will be reduced by over 75% in those who have received a dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine

After a primary course of AstraZeneca and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines, effectiveness against symptomatic disease appears to wear off with time. Overall, vaccine effectiveness against severe outcomes such as hospital admission remains high for several months after completing the primary course, but greater waning has been seen in older adults and those with underlying medical conditions compared to young, healthy adults.
