Light headedness and dizziness

Did anyone else's covid start as light headedness and dizziness?

I was experiencing these symptoms all day. Feels like a hangover but I wasn't drinking.

I don't have a positive PCR and I haven't used an antigen test yet either as I am in work. I used public transport at the weekend so that would be a potential exposure.

Just wondering of these symptoms happen with covid or something else.

Thanks

Yes! I tested positive today and have felt dizzy since yesterday. It is the symptom that is bothering me most Sad

It can be. My aunty was really dizzy with covid but she got a secondary ear infection from it.

But equally could be any other mild virus. Test when you get home!

I always had issues with my ears when I was small and growing up. I experienced ear ache often and when I got older - sinus infections and deafness. Within the past year I got a diagnosis of vertigo but it doesn't come on out of the blue. For me it accompanies travel sickness.

So whatever I am experiencing is happening out of the blue.

I will test later when I get home.

Weird. I had a day of dizziness and exhaustion yesterday. Just had my booster. Feeling better today tho still have a headache which I can't shift.

Yes that's what prompted me to do an LFT thar was positive
Day 6 now and still light headed along with a whole heap of other weird symptoms. Whoever says covid is like a cold clearly hasn't had what I've got Sad

Absolutely could be the start of covid op. I would see how you are tomorrow and if you still feel weird book another PCR.

Covid has all sorts of symptoms which vary enormously from person to person and from day to day. My very first symptom was awful body aches - even my toes hurt!!!

actiongirl1978 · 21/12/2021 19:15

Absolutely. 3 of us started with nausea and vertigo with the Delta version in August.

My DS lay in the bed crying for 2hrs as the room was spinning. That's how we knew he'd got it as both me and DD had the same symptom.

Hope you feel better soon

I was very dizzy with covid back in November and nearly fell over once:(
It was grim.
Wish you better op.
( might be blood pressure , might be worth getting that checked if you can ?)
