Anyone have tips/hints on how to deal with this?

I have diabetes, insulin dependent, not well-controlled (it's an ongoing battle). Triple-jabbed but worried that I might end up in hospital.
Primary school age DC so keeping distance/isolating isn't possible.

Don't yet know if I'm eligible for the new anti-viral meds.

Any ideas?

Do you have a partner? Can they take charge of your DC?

It's a small house, there's no way we can keep apart enough.

My DSis is very CEV. Her DD got COVID, and my triple-jabbed sister didn’t catch it. They have a small house, but my DNiece (age 8) stayed in her bedroom until the isolation period was over. My sister was so worried, then so relieved she didn’t get it. Her husband looked after DNiece and my sister stayed mainly in her own bedroom too.

Dettol all the light switches/door handles every night and ban them from the kitchen. I am triple jabbed, asthmatic and immunosuppressed and I didn’t catch it from DC and DH despite isolating with them.

I had my email today to say I was eligible for two drugs (anti virals) - as long as I let the gp know within 48 hours- and they are sending pcr tests to the house.
