DS1 has covid so to keep an eye on things thinking of getting an infra red thermometer.
Has anyone got any good recommendations?

Found this for £29.99 but skeptical about the offer saying it is usually more expensive. www.officialoximeter.co.uk which also sounds suspicious. Prices on amazon range from £15-£50+

Where to start.

You don't say how old your DS is but I bought the Boots no contact thermometer to use on my DD, who is one, instead of the underarm thermometer. But I find it harder to get an accurate reading as she hates it and moves her head around, so I often have to resort to the traditional one. Might be easier at night but she sleeps on her front anyway.

The link is for a pulse oxytetracycline, not a thermometer.

Thermometers are way, way cheaper than that, even if not on offer.

Blooming autocorrect!

The link is for a pulse oxymeter.

I would get a proper thermometer for home use, this is more for many people for quick assessment.

I generally have a temperature on the higher side and warned my dentist who use one of these, I was hypothermic.

I asked if it ever found a hot persoon and she said no.

Totally unscientific and only MY experience but there it is.
