Been stuck in for 7 days with v mild covid. Swear I feel worse just sitting around. Back aches & Brain fog are my worse symptoms! I know the 'rules' say isolate for 10 days, but I'm thinking of going for a walk around the block once the pink line goes on the LFTs. Im testing daily & it's getting fainter each day. Would this be so awful? I'd avoid others of course.

I think the line can stay positive for up to 90 days. Probably best to keep to the official 10 days.

Go for a walk at 5am one day, regardless of the line.

Mindymomo · 19/12/2021 12:57

I wouldn’t personally, the law states 10 days isolation. If I were to pass it on, I wouldn’t forgive myself, so I would wait until my 10 days are up.

Well I don't intend to ever test. If I felt unwell I'd stay in. Once I feel better I'll go out. Like it's always been. So in your case I'd go out because I'd feel well enough.

And that’s the behaviour of an idiot.

You do know you can have no symptoms and still pass it on?
peridito · 19/12/2021 13:18

Definitely go out - very early or very late and keep your distance .

Unlike many other viruses, this one spreads when it is non-symptomatic.

Yes I've soldiered on with much worse in years gone by.. I'm glad we have ability to test as I'd also be mortified if I had carried on & subsequently passed it on. I'd be walking in a very quiet area where I'd unlikely see another human so I think my common sense tells me that's ok as opposed to blindly following the govmt's 'laws'. And I'm not going at 5am 🤣 that's madness!!! Really interesting to gauge others' views tho.
