Worsening cough?

DC tested positive in November and was out of isolation 2 weeks ago. Cough remained but know that is normal.
Today is is way worse - coughing every couple of minutes.

Has this happened to anybody else? No other symptoms to suggest infection with omicron (dc had delta as far as we know - we were not contacted separately and told to isolate for 10 days as well as per the rules then)

I think you should call GP, maybe a chest infection as the cough still hasn’t gone away, best to get DC checked over. As it’s not a new symptom there’s no point testing as it may still show positive.

It doesn’t sound like a chest infection or I would agree. It’s a dry cough, no production, sounds more like a throat cough rather than a chesty one iykwim?
