Just that really? Have you been one of the confirmed cases? How are you feeling? Just curious how people are coping with it,

I think DS 14 may have had it but we didn't know the main symptoms so he was in school when his temperature was normal and he wasn't vomiting.

I had confirmed Omicron.

2 days of a real hacking couch that hurt my ribs - then absolutely fine.

How do you know it was omicron. I'm currently waiting for pcr results after positive LFT but sounds like omicron, with the cough. Did yours show on LFT

A friend said she tested positive last weekend with the mildest and shortest cold she'd ever had, I don't know if it was Omicron though.

If that becomes the dominant strain will they even tell you?

Of the people I know with it at the moment, one (1 week post booster) is pretty fine, few days of feeling like a mild cold to start with, two (double jabbed) have so far had about 4-5 days of feeling a bit flu-y - temperatures, sore throat and aching.

I had Covid in January and tested positive again yesterday. Out of my 15 work colleagues 11 of them have tested positive since Thursday. All these colleagues also had Covid at the same time as me in January.

We don't know for sure as PCR results don't say which strain we have but last time we were all really poorly and bedridden. Lots of us breathless and I ended up having to go to hospital for an afternoon due to low oxygen levels. This time we all just seem to have head colds, sore throats and are snotty! It also ripped through us in a couple of days. Im pretty sure it's Omicron.

I was contacted and told. Whole house had to isolate and my class were sent home to isolate.

I then had the joy of daily harassment by test and trace.

I haven't personally but a colleague at work and his pregnant wife have had omicron confirmed and both were fine apart from a mild cough (both are triple vaxxed).

One boy in my son's year has had it confirmed. Last I heard he was quite poorly and couldn't stop vomitting, there was talk of him going to hospital. Haven't had another update but hoping he's feeling better.

I know lots of people with omicron now and all say it is just a mild cold.
I had delta 2 weeks ago and that was like a heavier cold with some aches and chills but no temp. I know it wasn’t omicron as my contacts didn’t have to isolate - that was before they changed the rules. So on the basis of the people I know with it, it definitely seems milder

Have just recovered from a confirmed case.
Started as a scratchy throat, then turned into a fever and the worst night sweats - I would wake up dripping and my clothes wet and then the hacking dry cough.
It wasn’t too bad but did floor me for a few days.

Ok, my family just tested positive. Test and trace called and the lady on the phone said she hasn't information on the variant ds3 has, just that he was positive and asked about where I took him.
