Sick again after covid

My two year has had frequent coughs and colds since getting Covid last month, one a week it seems. Covid was mild compared to these. Anyone else's children getting frequently ill or is it just that time of year again?

Extremely normal. I have two kids, they get about 300 coughs & colds per winter. It’s exhausting!

Does they go to nursery or mix with other kids?

*Do they

Have you tested when they've started with a new cough? My DS tested positive less than three weeks ago, got better but now has a temperature after spending a week at school. Not sure whether to take him for a test as it'll probably still be positive from the first infection. But then I'm worried about him spreading it around if it is covid again. I don't know what to do. Sad

Yeah he does go to nursery and has picked up his first share since he started In March.

This time it's been back to back almost for weeks I wasn't sure if it was normal or perhaps long covid

It’s that time of year

My DD2 had a permanent cough all winter for her first few years (then had her tonsils out which seems to have stopped it)

I think it's around 2-3 weeks and the test should say negative. We just got one back yesterday with that.
