Hi,
My DH had two positive lateral flow tests Thursday so he had a PCR which was negative, put it down to the batch,
New box today and doing lateral flows before going to see family later on, and his is positive again... should he do another PCR?

Personally I would, yes.

He is positive. On the whole, PCRs are more likely to catch covid, but they will also miss some.

We had visitors last weekend and all four of us now have covid. One of us tested negative on pcr but positive on LFT before redoing a PCR.

We have had this. Tired, headache. 2 x positive lft yesterday and then negative pcr.
This morning lft still positive.
I have booked another pcr for tomorrow.

Rest of us negative lft but starting to feel pretty tired and I have headache.

My dd had this and still isn’t better after a month.
Three positive LF’s and three negative PCR’s! Also a close contact of a couple of positive cases in her class. I’m just believing she had it.

Thank you, we are going to do another PCR tomorrow and DH has decided to isolate as wfh anyway for what would be 10 days from first LFT I will do them daily.

Have many others had similar? I always thought PCRs were much more accurate

Yep I had 4 positive lateral flows over 2 days from 2 different batches. I felt crap too. 2 pcrs came back as unreadable and then 2 negatives. I isolated.
