Specific Booster question-Oxford initial course but under 40

I am hoping someone else has experienced this. I was given the Oxford vaccine first dose before it was contra indicated in under 40s because of the clotting risk. I did have my second dose of it after this happened to complete my course.
I have hypertension and other risk factors for clotting so I am extremely reluctant to get an Oxford as a booster, but am happy to have Moderna or Pfizer. Does anyone know if Oxford is being given as a booster or not? Can they use a different one?
I mean if I have to, I have to-but if there is a less risky option would prefer it obviously!

Is it not moderna or Pfizer for boosters?
I had 2x AZ but will get a pfizer booster (tomorrow)

AZ isn't being used at all for boosters. I was the same as you and my booster was Pfizer

I had the Astrazenica for my 1st two jabs. Quite bad side effects after both. I'd had my first then all the blood clotting stuff came out but was told to take 2nd so I did. I'm under 40.
Booster they are only offering Pfizer or moderna. I opted for Pfizer as my dad and husband had both their 1st 2 as Pfizer with no issues. My dad had his booster also Pfizer no issues. My husband is getting his booster in Jan.
I had Pfizer booster in Nov. No side effects at all and was end of 2nd trimester. Baby is still all happy and doing well in 3rd trimester.

Yes . No Astra Zeneca boosters - it’s either Pfizer or moderna

They're not using AZ for the booster so you'll be fine

Thank you!

Quite right OP, your booster wouldn't be AZ anyway now, just Pfizer or Moderna.

I had my first AZ early on as you did (early thirties) and then had Pfizer as a second dose. Am assuming I'll have another pfizer when I am due a booster early Jan, which can't come soon enough!
