When will I be better?

A month on from testing positive I'm still totally exhausted with sore joints, headaches, tight chest, no appetite etc.

I'm totally scunnered. I can't do anything without feeling utterly wiped out. My house is a disaster zone. My kids are feral. I'm not back at work. I can't concentrate on a book or even the TV. I've lost all my words.

I don't know if I started this thread just for a moan or to get some hope that I will feel better soon. How long did your symptoms last? Is there something I can take or do to make this less horrible and relentless?

I’m so sorry OP, that sounds awful. You must be exhausted. I think everyone is different, we all get better at different speeds, and having kids and a busy house will definitely slow it down if you can’t fully switch off and try to relax and recover. What’s advice does your GP give? There is also a thread on here for ‘Long-Haulers’ - people with suspected long Covid if you suspect you may need some advice on that. I hope you start to feel better very soon Flowers

I felt like that for about 5 weeks and then gradually got better for longer periods. The only thing that helped me feel better was ibuprofen. You'll get there but it feels like forever when you're going through it. 💐
