DS is home from uni and socialising wildly this weekend as it is his birthday and his 18th last year was cancelled. He has just had his 2nd jab rather unwillingly to appease my mum. I can tell DM thinks its awful that he is out and about and I have a feeling she will cancel us coming for Christmas, which is fine, she is worried and I understand that completely.

I am not laying down the law with DS and think he deserves to enjoy himself.

Younger DD is too young to be vaccinated and a constant close contact via school, so even if DS missed out we are still a risk.

Am I being awful? How are others dealing with their adult DC and the feelings of older family?
