Is this Omicrom?

Waiting for my PCR results. Have a really weird headache, feel dizzy and spaced out.. Anyone had this as a symptom?

You can’t tell just from that symptom.
T and t will let you know if you’re positive and if you are whether it’s omicron.

I just wondered if anyone had had that as an omicrom specific symptom.

I had it as a delta covid symptom

It could also just be a cold. Hopefully you’ll be negative

Sorry I’m saying that on a lot of threads I know - just shows me how crap I feel most of the time!

I don't think they're even sequencing here anymore so who knows. 22 kids out of dts class at the moment all positive PCRs but no mention of variant. The 8 left have all had covid previously. It must be omicron.

Those were my symptoms and I have tested positive (LFT and PCR).

On the plus side - I had one bad-ish night (the first day my LFT came back positive), and since then only had very, very mild cold symptoms.

Will they say whether it’s omicron?

It makes no difference to isolation rules for contacts anymore, are they bothering to tell everyone?

They don't say whether it's omicron or not. They're not testing every positive PCR to see if it's Omicron or not, only 1 in 5 I believe?

I have had these symptoms on and off since Wednesday and going for test this afternoon. Mostly on and off really bad /weird headache and now feeling chesty, run down, bit of a cough. I'll post my result.

I had that when I first got Covid. Assuming I had delta

That was my delta symptom. Nausea and vertigo.
