Lost PCR + booster booked, Wwyd?

Dh's pcr has in all likelihood been lost. Lft's all negative but pcr'd due to some symptoms, not classic but could be covid. His isolation ends Sunday night. His booster is booked Sunday morning though. If he's had covid he shouldn't have the booster for 4 weeks. If he hasn't had covid he doesn't need to isolate and can go get his booster. So mn, wwyd?

Walk-in PCR test?

If no classic symptoms and LFTs all negative I'd assume probably not covid and go ahead with the booster.

Pcr tests are usually back the next day.

Pcr's are not back next day at the moment. DH has been waiting more than 3 days already. They've said it might be processing still as they've got a backlog, or it might be lost.

Pcr tests are not coming back next day atm - ours took 3 days this week as did others who had to test as not allowed in school with covid symptoms
