Sore injection site and tired for a day

rainrainraincamedowndowndown · 17/12/2021 09:48

Nothing really. Just sore arm for few days.

averylongtimeago · 17/12/2021 09:48

Had mine yesterday- plus the flu shot in the other arm.
Arms are a bit sore, slight headache and feel tired, a bit like a mild hangover.

GoodnightGrandma · 17/12/2021 09:50

None. A slight tender feeling when I touched the injection site.
Having felt very unwell after my first AZ I was apprehensive, but it was fine.

CatJumperTwat · 17/12/2021 09:51

Bit of a sore arm for under 48 hours. My mum didn't even have that.

None with either but I'd had Covid 6 months prior to the first injection not sure if that had something to do with the lack of side effects

skippy67 · 17/12/2021 09:52

Sore arm for a few hours. That's it.

Husband had his yesterday, 3rd Pfizer, no side effects. He was poorly after his second dose

pollygartertidywife · 17/12/2021 09:55

Lump in arm pit - lymph node. Common side effect. Lasted 5 days and a bit uncomfortable..but nothing compared to getting Covid and being admitted to hospital 1day before booster was due..

BHX3000 · 17/12/2021 09:55

Sore injection site and on and off headache, both gone within 24 hours. I had the vaccine at lunchtime and woke up the following morning very congested, like I’d just got a cold. But it was gone by the time I’d eaten breakfast.

Landof · 17/12/2021 09:56

This is useful! Thanks for starting op. Having my booster today (although not sure which yet!) I had Pfizer first 2. Number 1 i felt really rough, number 2 OK but hoping OK after booster! Will take paracetamol

BHX3000 · 17/12/2021 09:57

Yes, I took 600mg ibuprofen every 6 hours and that definitely helped (only thing that works for me with a headache, paracetamol does nothing).

kissmelittleass · 17/12/2021 09:57

Apart from a sore arm I had a very sore and tender swollen armpit the morning after booster and lasted about 5-6 days, also happened after my flu jab this year

Lovemusic33 · 17/12/2021 09:58

I didn’t have any from the booster, my first vaccines were Oxford so I kind of expected a reaction from Pfizer but I was fine. Dd had her 2nd Pfizer Wednesday and spent yesterday in bed.

Noix · 17/12/2021 10:00

Sore arm for a day, nothing that would keep me up. Had the flu on the other arm and no reaction there at all. (Currently pregnant which may have helped.)

sunflowerroses · 17/12/2021 10:01

I felt ok after my first two Pfizer with just an achy arm. Had booster yesterday and today have a headache and feel generally under the weather. Arm not very achy though this time.

Laserbird16 · 17/12/2021 10:02

A sore arm for a day or two and a bit tired but otherwise fine

PurpleDaisies · 17/12/2021 10:03

Sore arm and felt a bit flu like for a day.

Winterlove · 17/12/2021 10:04

@pollygartertidywife I have a swollen lymph node in my armpit too. I also have a bit of a dead arm. Yesterday I was aching all over and tired but that seems to have passed overnight.

Yoksha · 17/12/2021 10:05

Felt achey for 2 days, then fine. Felt worse after 2x AZ vaccs.

Peakedtoosoon · 17/12/2021 10:06

None, not even a sore arm for the booster
