She’s been coughing since Tuesday/wed, took the day off yesterday and took a pcr test, results came back as negative. Still coughing but seems ok, can she go back to school today?

Yes.

Sparkle275 · 17/12/2021 07:16

Yes she can go back. Just notify the school and send them a copy of the results if requested.

Sirzy · 17/12/2021 07:18

If she is well enough yes just let school know she has tested and it’s negative

But who else wants her cough??? Covid or not!!

AD80 · 17/12/2021 07:52

Yes they can. I mean if they are hacking constantly I might not send them, only because it's tiring for the coughing kid, especially if they've been coughing at night. But otherwise I would.

Dd has had a cough for a month from a virus! She was tested negative at the time and went back to school! I couldn't keep her off until its totally gone. They can last for ages.

She actually had covid right now so but with no symptoms (still has the said cough but that's just from a month ago)!

Depends if she feels well!

She can if she's well enough and doesn't have a temperature. But to be honest no one else will be happy if she gives them her cough now as they'll have to isolate.
