Isolation over Christmas

Student SDS has tested positive whilst staying with us for a few days. Currently asymptomatic and S-I in his room. PCR not back yet but pretty definitive LFT. As things stand, last day of isolation is 25th (although could be later if he gets symptoms or if PCR is negative & he needs to start isolation on day of positive LFT). WWYD about Christmas Day? For context I also have DD15, who has had Covid a couple of months back and who isn't yet vaccinated, and DD 6 months. DH and I are boostered although mine is v recent so won't be fully effective yet but should be by 25th. WWYD about Christmas Day?

So basically you have an asymptomatic person with a positive lft...?
I'd be waiting until pcr results before panicking
