If you have had a pcr in the last few days how long have the results taken. I had one yesterday morning which is still not back and all my others have come back straight away - apart from the one they lost that didn't come back at all.

I had one on 12th at 11am and had result at 4am on 13th but they told me to expect upwards of 72 hours.
DD’s friend today told to expect 4 days. Our tests were done in Gloucestershire.

I ordered one Sunday, arrived Tuesday afternoon, got it off within an hour. Still awaiting results. My daughters hoping to go into school for the last day of term... shes gutted she's been home all week when all the fun stuffs going on!

Ordered Sunday, returned Monday and still no results.

I'm supposing they are inundated with tests to process. The country will grind to a halt whilst we all wait.

DS did a postal test that was posted on Tuesday and still no results. He's now missed the last week of nursery because we couldn't get a test at walk in test centre and had to wait on postal one. When I did a postal one a few months back it was much faster than this.

In answer to my own question, 32 hours and positive. Argh.

Sorry to read this! Hope you get a mild case!

Posted Monday, back this morning

Nowayoutonlydown · 17/12/2021 13:54

Still haven't got DDs back!

AD80 · 17/12/2021 14:01

All ours have been back within 12-15 hours in the last week or two taken at drive through site in southwest. Postal tests can take a lot longer.

Lupinhere37 · 17/12/2021 16:22

Oh no; sorry to hear this op. Hope you feel ok and not too rough. Take careFlowers

Dd2 and I are waiting on PCRs done yesterday at midday. It was incredibly busy at the drive through test centre. Dd1 had a test at 3pm on Wednesday and it was back at 7am yesterday (positive ☹️). I think they must be having massively increased numbers to process.

Hope it passes you by lightly @nomoneytree Flowers
