Does anyone know if we're able to get a PCR towards the end of (DH) isolation?
DH tested positive on LFT yesterday. Confirmed by PCR - results came in this morning.
DS (2) and I have just posted back our PCR tests. Awaiting results. I know it's slow but I can't do drive thru site as you can't leave the car and DS seat in the back and I can't reach him.
I'm so far testing negative on LFT. I am obviously daily LFT as well as waiting for my PCR.
I'm not testing DS on LFT although I've done him a PCR. He's little and doesn't understand and finds testing distressing.
My question is if we don't get symptoms can we get another PCR towards the end of DH isolation to confirm we're negative and safe to mix with others?
Of course if we get symptoms I'll do another test.
We're not isolating as such but we're only doing walks etc & not seeing anyone to prevent spreading Christmas misery.
