Delayed Period (menstrual) after Covid infection?

Wondered if any ladies out there had experienced a delay in their period after having covid?
I’m now very late to the extent I’ve skipped a whole cycle. Am at that age where they can be a bit erratic anyway but this is the longest cycle I’ve ever had by far. And before any one asks - zero chance of pregnancy!!

It's very normal to have delayed or skipped periods after a serious illness - your immune system and cycle are linked, as your body knows not to get pregnant when ill. I've personally had delayed periods after flu in the past.

Mine was the opposite. The day after I came down with COVID my period arrived very early. Then I got another one just a week after the first one stopped. Thankfully it all seems to have gone back to normal now, but COVID can definitely interfere with your periods

This happened to me. I’m 41…convinced myself it was the menopause. I think my period finally arrived 51 days later than it should! All back to normal now though

Yep, on day 37 of a cycle at the moment. My last period started on day five of my covid infection and was one of the worst periods I'd ever had. So I see this cycle as something of payback for that one:)

Sorry I'm late to the party on this post but I've been trying to find if anyone's had the same as me!

I'm currently self isolating and have had covid since Tues 18th Jan, my period was due on weds but nothing so far. Currently on cd32 and did a test yesterday which said negative, so would have thought something would have shown up if I was pregnant?
I also had my booster on 7th Jan which was in this cycle on cd18 so wondering if the combo of booster and covid in the same month has affected things, although the 2 jabs I had before I was fine with

I got my period in the end but on day 70. I’m usually day 25 so was 45 days late!!
