Wedding this weekend- would you go?

I’m an evening guest at a wedding this weekend, estimated 100 guests in total. I’m concerned that going to the wedding could result in having to isolate and miss visiting family over Christmas.
I’m also reluctant to drop out at this late stage.

I would, but have a child in primary school and one just home from uni who is socialising heavily. I also wouldn't be heartbroken if our Christmas plans changed, sad but not heartbroken.

If it was the wedding itself, I'd go. If you've just been invited to the evening do - aka 'a party' - then I probably wouldn't.

I’d decide on the basis of which meant more to me, or which you feel most duty towards, the wedding or Christmas plans (bearing in mind the possibility you could give the wedding a miss and still get covid anyway)
