Weekend away to be cancelled?

We are supposed to be meeting up in a remote ish part of Scotland with several households ie a bunch of us (about 16 friends / 8 couples) at end of Jan. would I be correct in assuming this would need to be postponed now due to vivid rules ? For context, most of us would be either driving or flying in from England .

It’s just guidance currently to limit to three households, not legally enforceable but that could change quickly.

Yeah that what I was thinking. Oh dear, think I'll need to canvass opinion on a group chat or something. It would be lovely to see everyone but not if it could cause a problem/health risk etc . Although I assume we are all triple jabbed I don't actually know for sure and feel it might offend if I ask.
