Isolating while waiting for PCR result?

My Ds has just tested positive on a lateral flow. I've booked a PCR for him and the rest of us tomorrow. Assuming the rest of us are negative on lateral flows, do we have to self isolate between doing the PCR and getting the result? In fact, should we self-isolate from the point we've booked the pcrs? No-one has symptoms including covid-boy. We're in England.

Technically, if you’re double jabbed, no, but if you’re not vaccinated, yes. Personally I would do just in case, but you don’t have to

If you have all Been exposed it makes sense to wait the 24/48h to get the results. Would you be happy to find out you are positive yet been mixing freely last 48h and spreading it on?

Your son has to, 100% and i personally think the right thing to do is all isolate until you all get your results back
