Covid symptoms & isolation

Hey all, so I am abit confused. I’ve been tested positive for covid and had the below symptoms

Slight cough
Sore throat- had a croaky voice for a few days
Headaches
Sniffles
Tiredness

I would have assumed these are covid symptoms but I’ve been told by Test & Protect that I am actually asymptomatic? Reason I ask is because the date I start isolation differs.

Are T & T just sticking to the 3 symptoms then? (that don’t seem to have been updated for reasons unknown)

Count from day of symptoms. How can list of 5 clear symptoms be no symptoms.
The first 4 days I had sore throat stuffy nose nothing more. Then cough and temp started. I be gutted if only started counting from day 5. How many days later did you get the positive PCR?

That’s what I am assuming they are doing but is that correct? Symptoms seems to vary from person to person testing positive. I’m just surprised I’m classed as asymptomatic??

This is Zoe app Cleary different from the only count constant cough, temp or lose taste of smell on NHS site.

I was in day 4 of symptoms before testing positive. I’m currently on day 6 since symptoms started and feel absolutely fine (if anything just abit tired but I have 2 kids so I’m always tired)

T&T are saying I’m asymptomatic so should be on day 3?!?!? So I’m just really confused.

To be honest I suspect if you ring up again and ask for advice someone else would say something different. Cleary you are on day 6 of symptoms not 3. Though I suspect once it’s reported as X day can’t change it. Apparent from emails and text checking reminding me to Isolate no person actually checked. I’d add on few days if I was seeing someone vulnerable but if it meant just going for walk or not the last 3 days I’d still go.

Thanks @Akire for the advice- i think I do agree with you. We don’t have any plans but would love to get out for a walk at least. Being stuck in with 2 kids for an extra 3 days does make all the difference (obviously providing all others in the household stay negative).

Yes I had the symptoms listed on the Zoe site, as did my partner who ended up in icu (out now thankfully) why has the gov.co.Uk website not been updated. Neither of us had the 3 symptoms listed there. I have a cough, partner doesn't. He had a high temp - I didn't. I've lost my taste and smell but he hasn't.

I know it’s seems neglectful if I had obeyed nhs I wouldn’t tested positive and carried on least another 4 days before couldn’t get out bed. It’s like they don’t want you to test.
