Covid twice in 90 days?

Is it possible to get Covid twice quite close together?

I've just received an email that my dd has been identified as a close contact of a positive case. We had Covid 6 weeks ago ourselves so can't do a pcr/lft apparently as it could give false result.

We're all full of cold though, I thought just normal winter cold but now I'm not sure
