My DS has had an exposure, a child he attends wrap around care with tested positive yesterday (Tuesday) so DS was in the car to club with him and at club for 2.5 hours. They were in the same school but I don't know if they are in the same class because I don't know what child it is.
My DP doesn't live with us and hasn't see DS since Tuesday morning.
Usually we would carry on as normal since DS doesn't have a positive test or anything and might not even have it. But with the time of year we have lots of plans from Sunday with his family. So since he doesn't have to be in contact with DS it seems sensible to minimise the risk.
How long would you recommend him staying away for? Would it be ok for me to go and visit him or is that risky too? I am getting myself all confused.
Like I say we would usually just take our chances especially since DS will be going to school still (unless he gets symptoms) but I think you are most infectious 48 hours before symptoms?
