I know the original vaccines it was 2 weeks until you were protected. Anyone know what the deal is with the booster?

I think I read somewhere about 21 days for it to be fully effective.

I saw on news today they were saying it starts working straight away but is pretty much fully effective after 2 weeks.

Guacamole001 · 15/12/2021 13:44

I read online in 7 days.

loveandroses · 15/12/2021 13:45

I read that you get some protection after 3 days and that increases up to its peak at 10-14 days.

AchillesLastStand · 15/12/2021 13:58

10-14 days is what I’ve heard as well, but every day post vaccine you’re making antibodies and T cells.

So we can say from the replies to this thread that nobody actually knows?

SLH2003 · 15/12/2021 14:30

Max protection from 7 days onwards.
