I would have been fine. I had mine on Monday. I felt "off" for a bit but not unwell and had a sore arm for 48 hours but it's fine now.

Ruralbliss · 15/12/2021 10:53

I was fine for 12 hours on Sunday (Moderna booster) then suddenly very very ill (shivery, aching hurting limbs, feverish nights sleep then headache and nausea/dizziness). Was back to myself the day after (Tuesday)

JoBrodie · 15/12/2021 10:54

I had Pfizer booster and 27 hours later had a raised temperature and faster than usual pulse. Solved by 2 paracetamol within an hour. Oddly the exact same thing happened on the following 2 evenings (though I was fine during day!) but less pronounced, and paracetamol solved. Sorted by Day 4.

Hope you bypass any side effects though OP :)
Jo

Took about 24 hours to hit me but it seems to affect everyone differently

drwitch · 15/12/2021 10:57

Dp felt rough 6 hours later and was tired and achey for the next few days. I was fine until 12 hours later when I woke up shivery and feverish. Lasted for 2 days. Fine by the Thursday (I had the jab on Sunday) COVID in Jan 2 AZ and this was the Pfizer booster

GettingStuffed · 15/12/2021 10:58

I had the Pfizer booster 6 days later I felt like I'd been hit by an articulated lorry, every inch of me ached but a day later I was fine. I had no reaction after either of my jabs other than muscle pain.

Paleodiet · 15/12/2021 11:01

The following day. Woke up with a headache and nausea.

herecomesthsun · 15/12/2021 11:09

I didn't feel ill at all.

cloudtree · 15/12/2021 11:13

No reaction at sll

gogohm · 15/12/2021 11:19

Felt fine, took precaution of not driving but wasn't needed

Redcrayons · 15/12/2021 11:25

Had mine at lunchtime, and was fine all day. Even went for a 10k run after work. Felt pretty ropey the day after but would have been fine to go out for dinner.

Jab number 2 was the worse for me.

It’s so variable. My 75 year old mum had nothing for any of them, not even a sore arm. She jokes that she’s had the placebo.

DynamiteFilledRadish · 15/12/2021 11:31

I've got mine on Saturday and my area are doing Moderna apparently, so will update!

Have had 2 Pfizers already with zero side effects. Didn't even have a sore arm.

Panacotta · 15/12/2021 11:32

I didn't feel ill.

Ugzbugz · 15/12/2021 11:38

I had mine yesterday and feel very tired but think it's effects of heavy weekend and general worrying!

Winniemarysarah · 15/12/2021 11:45

No one can tell you op. The day after I had mine I had to take my dogs to the vets for their boosters. I ended up collapsing in the waiting room and didn’t get up again for 4 days. The worst reaction I know of is a friend of mine (she’s a paediatric nurse) having a condition triggered called Guillaine barre syndrome (sp). She’s been paralysed in hospital for two weeks. The vast majority of people seem fine though 🤷🏼‍♀️

LefttoherownDevizes · 15/12/2021 11:58

Head is currently pounding, in way to lunch on train. Going to neck water, think it's more likely dehydration

I have been ill both times so far, and it has kicked in almost exactly 12 hours after vaccination both times. Had AZ.

CheesyFootballsAreEvil · 15/12/2021 12:04

Drink loooooads of water

knittingaddict · 15/12/2021 12:28

If it happens at all It's usually 10 to 12 hours after vaccine. You will be fine

LefttoherownDevizes · 15/12/2021 16:29

Thanks. Had a lovely lunch, feel a teeny bit achey and headachy and shoulder starting to hurt but really glad I did it.

Poor DH who use going to the football with DS13 this evening may struggle more (had his same time as me)

Hi. I had my pfizer booster yesterday morning. Started to feel ill last night, fever 38.3,chills, aches and sore arm. Currently in bed with the same symptoms, hoping it will go soon!
Had a fever with both AZ doses

Abraxan · 18/12/2021 09:25

Didn't feel I'll at all. Neither did dh or 9y Dd.

After all jabs and boosters none of us have felt ill. Most we have had has been a sore arm and a bit of a headache. Nothing that has stopped us going to work or getting on with our life's normally.

We all had Pfizer for the two main jabs. Dd had Pfizer for her booster. Dh and I had Moderna.

LubaLuca · 18/12/2021 09:29

I felt absolutely fine for an entire day, but exactly 24 hours after the Pfizer booster I got chills, headache etc. 48 hours later I felt terrible still, uncontrollable whole body shivers and a cracking headache, but I was A-OK by the time I got up the next morning.

supersop60 · 18/12/2021 09:32

You should be fine. I had Moderna, sore arm, and very tired on the following day, but that was it.
