Have I escaped?

Ds tested positive last week and is out of isolation tomorrow. I've been LFT testing daily and have managed to stay negative. As it's freedom day for him tomorrow is it safe for me to assume I've avoided catching it from him? No symptoms throughout.

Just wondering at what point they stop being infectious. Thanks.

Have you done a PCR as well? I would, to be on the safe side, but if your lft are negative I would assume you’ve escaped it. My DP is the same. Lft each day, and PCR came back negative yesterday. My lfts are coming back negative now too.

Yeah I'm thinking of doing a PCR today or tomorrow just to confirm it. I haven't done one throughout as I thought I could catch it at any point from him. But as isolation ends tonight and he can go out again tomorrow I'm presuming he's no longer contagious?
