I'm currently due to come out of isolation on Thursday, I'm not vaccinated and my daughter's LFT showed up positive tonight, do I need to isolate again for another 10 days?

Why were you isolating? Was it from contact or did you have covid?

dementedpixie · 14/12/2021 19:48

If you had covid and your dd has likely caught it from you then you wouldn't restart isolation.

Mummybearto4 · 14/12/2021 19:50

Yeah I tested positive.

No I don't believe you do, but anyone else in your household who hasn't had it does.

Test and trace said they don't have to isolate.

Do they now need to do LFTs daily?
Advice differs depending on where you are in the UK

Mummybearto4 · 14/12/2021 20:16

No she did it for college, plus she's started with a cough.

Are you isolating because you've had covid? If you've had covid and your Dd has caught it off you I am certain you do not have to isolate!

They didn't say, it's only little 2 who haven't had it yet.

As long as your daughter tested positive during your isolation period - your isolation does not extend.
