Has anyone experienced nausea with covid, I am 5 days in now and the only symptom I have now is the constant nausea, I am hoping it will soon disappear?

I'm still a bit nauseous 6 weeks on unfortunately

Hizz · 14/12/2021 17:26

I did. Nausea lasted about 2 weeks and vomiting at times.

I could barely eat for the whole ten days I was isolating- I just existed in a few bits of fruit, half bowls of soup, and smoothies. I just couldn’t stomach anything- usually I would start the day feeling nauseous and it would gradually fade as the day wore on so that I could manage a bit of soup in the evenings. It was grim- I lost a lot of weight. That and loss of smell were my main symptoms

Yes. I had such horrendous nausea and then vomiting that I was admitted on day 12. I was so dehydrated, had very low blood sugar. I was kept in a couple of days and given iv fluids and iv Ondansetron. It started with nausea and then from about day 8 or 9 I couldn’t keep water down. Nobody was interested until eventually DH had a total meltdown on the phone to our gp as we were really not coping. Gp sent us to hospital and I was admitted immediately. It was honestly awful. The worst symptom by far. I’ve not heard of anyone else with nausea as bad.

Yup right now. Charcoal tablets helping.

Oh crap I have nausea off and on anyway. If that becomes a symptom I’ll never stop testing!

Yes, nausea, constant headache and dizziness (plus the usual loss of taste and smell) were my only symptoms really and lasted about 2 weeks. I had a cough for about 1 day.

Yes. Definitely

Weird sweet unpleasant taste too, but that might be from the antibiotics/ sinus infection that followed
